Dani kept staring wordlessly, stunned nearly out of her mind. THings like this just don't happen to people! Strange people and creatures landing on her roof, animals changing shape and talking... Granted, most people couldn't do... well, what she could. But all the same, she was unused to this kind of thing, and was somewhere between scared and shocked.

Rathyr smiled a wolfish grin at Dani's confusion. "The proper response would be to tell me who you are m'lady." He said calmly, folding his feathery wings to his back.

she stammered silently for words, before finding them. "I... I'm Dani. Er, Daneidi, really, but Dani for short." she cut herself off before she started rambling. "And, uh, sorry, but I'm kind of... confused." her face showed it, too. But her displacement had wiped away all traces of her normal cold approach to people, particularly strangers. Her eyes darted from one to the other, wondering what the was with her roof, that night.

Rathyr smiled again, his tail weaving patterns in the air. "Hello Dani, you have a right to be confused, perhaps when we are finished with introductions I shall try to lighten the burden of confusion that weighs upon your shoulders." He said and looked at the other, eyes probing. "May I ask who you are?" He asked, tilting his head in a very wolf like manner.

Kamui stood tall and withdrew his wings in, "I am Kamui." He didn't bow or nod his head in acknowledgement. His eyes scanned the two. His senses picked up on the female's fear and the wolf's curiousity.

Dani heard more screeching coming from below. "Oh, c'mon..." she muttered, frowning as she heard her name being called, followed by a string of substituted curses. That woman always made herself righteous for using words like "dang" and "heck". A strange one, to be sure. She looked from one to the other, torn between staying in the company of these strange characters and risking the woman's wrath, or going down there now, instead of later, and missing an oppurtunity... "Daneidi Singer, if you don't get your tail in thsi kitchen right now, I'll..." her voice trailed off as she walked in to another room again. Dani sighed, and continued rubbing at her temples.

Down below, a raven-haired girl could hear voices and yelling above her. Jade was hungry, and figured, if any humans be here, she would feast. Her glass-like, vampiric nails dug into the brick of the wall, and with a lot of effort, she managed to make it to the roof. Once there, she looked about and saw that only one of the three creatures looked human. "Room for one more?" the vampiress asked, sarcasm flowing in her voice. She wanted to use the roof as a 'spy spot', as she called it. She had to eat sometime tonight, and if she wasn't going to get a meal here, she would use the wonderful location to help her find one. Her vibrant green eyes scanned the creatures, curiousity coming to them, but she would not ask. Detatchment had always been an issue for her. Her hair swirled about her, flowing to her lower back. She wore a black corset top with red lacing, and short black skirt. Her nails were painted red, as was the front piece of her hair.

Seeing the vampiress, Kamui growled, baring his own fangs. Though he was an angel, it didn't mean he was holy or pure. There were enough breeds of angels in the world to compete with dogs. His eyes narrowed, though he didn't plan on killing Dani or the other, Kamui's breed of angel was known to be terriorial and he had claimed this area as his. Kamui couldn't stop everyone, and some he even ignored, but the new vampiress set off a warning.

Rathyr opened his mouth as if to speak then closed it rapidly, eyeing the new arrival wearily. "'ello." He said softly, his amber eyes studying the vampiress. He looked at Dani and Kamui then turned his eyes back to the vamiress, eyes peircing, and in a way, frightening. He folded his wings tightly to his back against the cold, raven feathers ruffling in a short but strong gust of cold air.

Growing a bit self-consious, Jade sent the group a defiant sneer and settled at the edge of the roof, waiting for someone to come along. "Hey" she said in respones to the wolf's greeting. Hey, if she was going to be here, she might as well be polite... somewhat. Killing humans in front of another human probably isn't polite, but that's something that cannot be helped. The street was unusually quiet tonight, and she'd go someplace else save the fact that this was the only 'hunting ground' not claimed by a vampire or vampiress. Whether other creatures staked claim here, she did not know, but was sure that if she was intruding on someone's area she would be informed.

Rathyr nodded at the greeting and looked at Dani. "If you'd like I could explain why I'm even here. And where Alaston is, though, I bet you'd be even more coufused if I do." He said, his ears twitching slightly in a nervous way.

Dani looked from one to another, before shaking her head decisively. "No! I dont' want to know why any of you are here! Get off my roof!" She looked around, noticing that they weren't exaclty moving in a hurry. "I said get off! Leave! Get away from my home!" That was somewhat of a lie. She didn't really think of this place as her home, but it was where she lived, and she didn't like to have strange things suddenly landing on it in the middle of the night, acting as if it were theirs to claim. "Go away!" she shrieked one last time, wondering why on earth she was acting like such a little girl. She'd always thought she'd love a chance like this. But now she just wanted her roof back to herself.

Rathyr shrugged. "Fine, it's your funeral" He muttered and shifted, with a sickening bone crunching sound, into the owl he had been before. Hooting he flew off to the place where he had been previously, he hooted again and looked for a meal.

Kamui remained in place, his eyes set on Dani. By the emotion on his face, it showed that he was not going to move anytime soon. His wings flexed lightly, a large, white feather dropping to the ground.

Dani found a seat on another one of the rooftop's vents, hunching her shoulders against the wind and glaring at Kamui. "Well," she muttered. "Why are you still here?" she turned her glare to the vampiress. "And you? This is my place. Mine." She started mumbling to herself, glaring absently at the gravel at her feet.
