Scoran walked heavily, his legs feeling like lead since he had to get out of the tunnel the concealed him in darkness, and did no better when it had a rockslide at the mouth that he had to break through. "Blast it, my time away from the stones have made me weaker" He cursedleaning down on a tree. It appeared to be a bright day, although the slight rain that bored out of the lone clouds overhead. Before he had went back to his clan to pay his respects, he had hated rain, but now enjoyed the feeling of the light on his skin, with the rain massaging it. "I guess I have turned from a mountin dwarf to a hill dwarf " He chuckled, finding his own jest amusing

Alayna sat at the stream, her hood was down and she was lying back on Zaphira who was behind her. Her feet were in the cool water, they ached from all the walking they had done today and she had many blisters from her new boots. The tattoo on her ear itched, she turned around, her ears pricked. She hissed to Zaphira who stood as Alayna put her boots back on and put her hood back up. The hood shadowed her pale features and protected her from the cold rain that was falling. Zaphira knelt and let Alayna climb aboard the large black saddle that sat between her shoulder blades, it had the emblem of the dark knights lovingly sewn into it, a crimson skull, on each side.

Jasuchi flew angrily from tree top to tree top through the forest. ((flashback)) "Oh, Jasuchi, you're such a klutz!" Isamu had laughed when she had found him, "Oh Isamu, you're such an idiot!" Then he ran away as a joke and she had gotten lost again! ((end flashback)) So here the owl girl was, looking for that jerk Isamu in the rain. Suddenly Jasuchi stopped and hid, for then she saw a man in armour. "A soldier!" she whispered with fear.

Trotting through the forest for some relaxing and alone time, Lord Chronicle, a member of the royal family, enjoyed his time without guards and some peace and quiet. His unicorn, Flight, neighed happily, shaking the light armor that covered his body. Hopping off, Chronicle's decorated robe jingled slight because the tips of the fabric was lined with blue beads. The black and blue design he wore was on his robes, and he wore the blue cloth headband to help with the heat. Spotting the small stream, Chronicle lead Flight to it and watched as he horse drank. "This is the life, Flight."

Zaphira walked down the game path, widening it emmenssly, her large tail that she used like a rudder in the air dug long trenches in the ground. Her large clawed feet left imprints large enough for a wolf to sit in comfortably. Alayna wrinkled her nose distastefully. She hissed to Zaphira who had apparently also smelt unicorn, a rare smell in such a common wood as this. Alayna shrugged and bid Zaphira to continue down the path, her bulk pushed trees out of the way easily and left markings of her neck spines on ones she didnt crush completly. Her ruby scale scrapings littered the forest floor, making it apparent that a dragon had passed.

Jerking his head up, Flight glanced around violately, sensing others. Alarmed by this, Chronicle looked at his unicorn, "What is it Flight? This is a common forest, what could happen?" Flight neighed at him. "Fine, fine. I promise to protect you if something happens," Chronicle chuckled. Huffing, Flight went back to drinking. Taking off a silver flask, Chronicle took a long sip from it. He pulled it away and took a deep breath, "That's good..."

Zaphira began to emerge from the thicket of thorns and vines before Alayna stopped her abruptly, "No my dear wyrm." She said softly and slid off the saddle. "You will follow me out of this horrid thicket," She said her voice was oddly hisslike. Zaphira snorted, blowing a ring of smoke from her nose slit. "Ah ah ah, You must be honorable, the dragonfear is great to some, you wouldnt want to scare whoever it is away with your horrid stink would you?" Alayna said with a chuckled. Zaphira returned the chuckle, it sounded like rocks grinding together. Alayna chuckled again and muttered a "Good" before she emerged from the thicket, her hood still up, crimson eyes peering out, narrowed.

[shadow=black,left,300]Aliva walked down the dirt path. Her horse's hoofs smacked the ground roughly making small speck of red dust flew up. The elven looked at her gaurd as he moved along her side. Aliva had been traveling for days through the dense foliage in search of a near by town to rest. Her mind wander to someplace else, the other elf grunted as his horse stopped. He kicked the horses side but it didn't budge. "Hmphf" he said looking at Aliva. She turned toward him, noticing her horse had stopped as well. They looked at each other wondering the same thing.[/shadow]

Flight yet again stirred neighing loudly and beginning to rear up. Chronicle grabbed the reins, "Shh! Calm down, Flight!" He quickly turned his head, looking through the forest with his blue eyes. Seeing nothing strange, he returned to calming Flight down. He succeeded at getting him on the ground. Chronicle hopped up onto the saddle, "If you're so spook, we'll go elsewhere." He pulled on the reins and they trotted lightly through the creek to find another peaceful rest place.

Alayna walked forward after Chronicle was long gone. She looked at the ground, there were hoof prints, they were deep, the animal had smelt Zaphira that much was sure. She saw footprints lead, what she believed to be a Unicorn, down along the creek. She squatted and rubbed a bit of dirt between her thumb and pointer. She nodded, satisfied and called Zaphira from the thicket with a sharp piercing whistle. "It is a unicorn. This place reeks of it, The other im not quite sure, how can you be sure really. Anyway, they left just a few moments ago, the trail is fresh." She said and climbed onto the saddle and again, the duo trotted down the banks of the Black Rage River, this time though, Alayna kept her eyes peeled for any movement. Her hand was hovering by the hilt of her sword, running her index finger over the ruby eyes of the foxes.

[shadow=black,left,300]She quickly turne d her head to the loud neighing of a near by horse. Looking to her gaurd for a response. He looked in the direction the noise came from and finally sadi, "Unicorn, very rare for one to be out here in this forest. in the wild..." his voice trailed off. Aliva nodded she understood. Walking over to the elf's horse she reached in the pack it was carring and pulled out some feed. Giving some to him they both fed their horses, jumping on them again. Continuing their traveling.[/shadow]

Pulling on the reins a little, Chronicles looked around the area, "Somethings not right, Flight. You did find something but I don't know what and I don't think I want to know." Scratching the stallion behind the ear, Chronicle watched as the unicorn nodded his head, as if in he heard Chronicle. "Of course, I don't take you to be a dumb animal. Unicorns are way smarter then humans!" Chronicle laughed and headed on.
