A small, swift bird circled the city, winging slowly towards the brothers' path. As she saw them, the falcon swung towards them, swooping neatly over their heads and landing in their path in human form. Andra quickly held her hands up, hoping for some semblance of peace.

Kurai had his sword out and under her chin in a moment,"What do you want now, girl? Come to make my day?" Sion pushed Kurai's sword top away from Andra's throat," Wait, it looks like she has something to say." Sion said smiling faintly , his rage towards the girl not perceptible in his cool and collected mood.

Andra held her chin high, even when the sword was lifted away from her throat, but her eyes couldn't meet either of them fully. "Yes, I do have something to say." Her mind was busier figuring out why she was doing this. "I wanted to apologize. I heard what you told Lei, and you were right, I did attack first." She lowered her head a bit, almost shamefaced. Almost. "I should have just let you go." You shouldn't have taken that man's life, she wanted to say. But the thought remained silent.

Jyp trudged down the hall back to the room he had eavesdropped by earlier, yawning tremondously. Sanle prooded him in the back. "Hurry up, half-breed." he growled. Grawn looked up at the cat-sprite as he was ushered in. "Whaddya want?" Jyp asked grumpily. Grawn nodded at him. "Did you get the stuff?" he asked, narrowing his eyes. Jyp nodded sullenly and tossed a small bag onto the desk. "Happy birthday," he muttered. Grawn stared at him. "Did you get anything else?" he asked. Jyp nodded, suddenly uncomfortable. "Where is it, then?" Grawn asked dangerously. "I sold it." the cat-sprite murmured, rubbing his arm. "Then where's the money?" Sanle growled from behind him.

"You got a lot of guts coming out here with nobody else around. Did you expect us not to kill you? Or are you just trying to get yourself killed? You seem to be a magnet of bad luck for us. First you made me kill a man, then you almost get us killed for self defe-" Kurai was cut short by Sion who playfully punched his brother in the shoulder," Come on Kurai, she came to apologize not cause us more trouble. Apology accepted." he smiled.

Jyp didn't answer, averting his eyes. Grawn scowled, guessing what the cat-sprite had done with the money. "We're not a charity, half-breed. Whatever you steal comes to the guild, and nowhere else." "It's not like you need it anyhow, you selfish pig!" Jyp suddenly spat. "What's wrong with helping other people?! 'Cause I don't see anything wrong!" Grawn sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Don't do it again. Anyways, we've got something else for you to do..." Jyp listened intently as he was given instructions, though he was still sullen. A moment later, he walked out of the room and headed for the exit to the streets above.

She grinned nervoulsy, her eyes trained mistrustfully on Kurai. She hadn't known that people could be so cold, at only her age. Hardened to the world, and self-defensive, sure, but he scared her, in a way that only seasoned assassins or crazed drunkards did. He was dangerous... Andra pushed the thought from her head. She was paranoid, of course. Lei had told her so countless times.

Kurai sensed Andra's miscomfort and grinned his wicked grin at her, his cold maroon eyes staring into her own nervous eyes," Something wrong, girl?" He flicked his sword expertly in her face, missing it by a fractiona nd sheathing it at the same moment and turned his back on her, walking down the path.
"Eh, sorry about him. He likes to intimidate people.." He half grinned almost embaressed by his creepy yet dashing brother.

Andra hadn't flinched from the blade, but she'd been close to it. "It's no problem," she assured. "I just wanted to say what was necessary. I ought to be getting back home, anyways..." Her voice trailed off thoughtfully, but she shook it aside, bowing her head farewell to Sion, before starting down the street, arms crossed over her shoulders as the coldest part of night began settling in.

Jyp's tail swished as he gloomily walked the streets, his paws in his pockets and shoulders slumped dejectedly. He thought over what had happened since he joined up with this particular theives' guild; it had been a couple months and they still didn't trust him...Or brand Jyp, as was their custom.

Sion stopped Andra," Well as for our apology, here's my cloak. It's a sorry for almost killing you gift, I guess. And it's cold out and you'd be better off not getting sick.Besides, I like the cold." He smiled, not seeming cold at all as he took off his cloak, only wearing light traveling clothes and armor underneath it. Kurai tapped his foot impatiently.

Andra smiled gratefully, taking the cloak and swinging it around her shoulders. "Thank you," she said softly, bowing her head, before turning on her heel and heading down the street again. She'd never been one for the cold.

Jyp shivered and rubbed his arms. He was slightly chilly, but that was quite alright with him, though the cold seemed to affect him more than some other people would think.
