((Here's the intro to my character Araya, please when roleplaying, post in the same thread, some of you might be new to this so I'll help you a bit if I have to, since I have administratior abilities! I am Wonder Administratior! Able to delete accounts in the blink of an eye!! *catchy theme song*))
Araya sat in the tavern, sipping her ale and observing the tavern empty, for it was near midnight and most had to work the morrow. She smiled, her thin, pallid lips curving into an arc, but though she smiled the smile was so subtle that it never reached her sad and dark eyes before it faded. She looked out the window that was at her right, a beast stood, its long neck arced gracefully as its keen eyes watched over the tavern roof, it seemed intent on something, what, Araya knew not. The beast was a great black dragon, the best mount any dragon rider could ask for. Araya was a dragon rider and she envied the one to whom that beast belonged to, its tail lashing back and forth impatiently as its black scales glittered dully in the moonlight. Suddenly a man, hooded and cloaked walked up to the beast, the great wyrm paid him no attention, its keen eyes stayed focused in the same place in the sky, where the two moons hung in the sky, they seemed as if they were cloaked with the same dark cloak of the man, The beast managed to tear its gaze away from the moon to look at the man, "Cole, you return early." Said the beast in a voice so low that it made the window pane that Araya rested her palm against vibrate slightly. The man looked up at the beast, "Indeed. What troubles you on this fine night dear Zonnen?" The man, apparently Cole asked, his voice gruff. The dragon looked away and back to the moons, "The moons, I will never get used to them this way, they seem dulled, Don't you see it Cole?" Zonnen asked squinting in the faint moonlight, "It seems as if they have always been that way, they haven't` changed to me. But then again..."He paused to look at the moons, "You have lived much longer than me great wyrm." Cole said finally and climbed onto the saddle that adorned the dragons back, between the wings, Cole's preference. Araya looked away as a single tear slid down her pallid cheek, she stood shakily and left the tavern, heart aching with the remembrance of her long partner, Clamnor, a great dragon Clamnor was, or at least Araya's memory of her was. Clamnor had been killed, by the good knights, as they called themselves, in the battle, Araya knew she couldn't escape, the enemy's dragon riders were fast approaching, Clamnor sacrificed herself by slamming head on into the leader of the formation, killed by a lance that was driven into her skull, Araya survived, many deemed it a miracle, but, Araya wasn't whole without Clamnor, there was an emptiness, a void in her very being that could never be filled. Araya had never thought about how wonderful Clamnor was, her cheerful smile and wise ruby eyes glistening, no, nothing could ever replace Clamnor. The great Araya Bloodbane reduced to this. Envying the mount of an enemy Knight. Pathetic.

Darc sauntered down the street and pulled his enormous wings to his sides as tight as he could. He could not decide whether he was trying to hide them or keep warm. He felt out of place, wandering around with normals. He should be back with the Deimos, but he did not want to hear their taunting and jeering. Darc knew that he should have gotten used to it by now, but it was still hard. He had lost his father, who was at one time King of the Aryans. The winged demons that ruled the sky. The most feared and respected Deimos of all. Darc, being slose to tears, slipped into a small tavern, trying to choke back the pain. He could feel the growing hate of his human mother rise and send a surge of heat straight through his body, his pointed ears burning. Darc heard a slight sound and drew his wings in around him, hiding in a blackened corner, his spiked, long, blue hair falling into his face. He looked around, finding the source. A woman, sitting at the bar. She seemed forlorn and forgotten, like she'd lost someone very dear to her. She was staring at something intently outside the window. Darc glanced to see what it was that had entranced her so. Seeing a large black dragon outside facinated him. They looked like more primitive forms of himself accept more daemon like. He somewhat sympathized with the beast, wondering what it was like, but would rather look like that than be in his current form.

Araya looked away from the window and noticed someone new had entered the tavern. She eyed him with little intrest and returned again to her thoughts. ~~~~~~Clamnor....~~~~~~~ While Araya was mourning Clamnor's death, Clamnor herself was soaring over the plains of Derox. A land of death and misery, she saw many people near a large stronghold, most were draconions, the result of the rare union of a dragon and human. They had dragonlike wings, though large, they were useless except for slowing a fall or speeding them while running by using them like sails. Clamnor thought of Araya, and felt the emptiness within her yearn to be filled. As she flew she noted that no one noticed her...perhaps this was because she was dead, or because they were used to seeing dragons fly the sky, either way, she didnt care.

Darc stepped out of the shadows reluctantly and sat at the bar, keeping his wings close to him. He avoided eye contact with the woman at the table, but slid his electric blue eyes in her direction catching her facial expression. She looked lost and troubled, he could relate having lost his parents and being hated by all. He sighed and looked out the window that was caked with dirt and dust that had collected throughout the years. The place looked as sullen and miserable as he felt. Finally deciding to speak he looked over at the woman, who seemed to pay him no mind and sipped her ale contentedly. Her forehead wrinkling in thought((darling, i god modelled, forgive me ;D )).... He couldn't, his words had escaped him and didn't think she was so interested in what he had to say anyway. "Anything I can gechya?" the bartender said looking at Darc with disgust. He was used to that look of dismay. Looking up to show he had no fear, the man's pale, weathered face took on a look of surprise at Darc's tanned human face. "Was there something you were expecting?" Darc said in a mysteriously alluring voice. The old man put down the glass he was cleaning and shook his head. "No. I don't want anything," Darc replied bluntly and turned away. The man picked up the glass, shrugged, and walked away.

((nah, its fine...)) Araya saw him look in her direction and sighed, making sure her hood was up she walked over to the bar and ordered another ale. She slid the ale to Darc, "Take a drink, you look like you need it," She said with a slight smile. "The ale might not be that good, but," She said leaning back in her chair so only two legs touched the ground, "You can find some pretty interesting people here" She added with a wry smile eyeing Darc's wings.

A sharp toothed smile brightened Darc's face for the first time in a long time. He took the drink and set it in front of him. "Thanks. Where am I anyway?" he asked moving the glass in circles watching the ice move.

"On the border of Derox, Homeland of the Dark knights, and myself" She said with a grin then continued, "and Anislonski, Homeland of those filthy tree hugging elves," She spat.

Darc raised his eyebrows. "I flew here. My home is too painful to speak of," Darc said reaching for the blue mark of a cresent moon with a circle in the middle on his human arm. "Human and Deimos live there separated by conflict created by Spirit Stones. They provide energy to the Humans and magic to the Deimos. A long time ago, Humans and Deimos lived together in peace. But an army arose harvesting Spirit Stones keeping us in short supply. Since the army was Human, they Deimos started blaming the Humans, creating a hostile argument. Ever since, they've hated each other," Darc explained. He shook his head and loweredd his scaly arm.

Araya nodded, "I came here on dragonback, Clamnor was her name. She got killed during the war though, I've been hanging around ever since, I...I just dont want to forget her" She said blinking repeditivly to clear the tears the threatened to spill. Clamnor was close, she could smell her mistress, she then saw the tavern, old, shabby. Exactly where you would expect to find Araya. She laughed nervously and spiraled down, her scales glimmered dully in the moonlight, reminding Clamnor, that she was no longer living....

Darc sighed. "There's no reason for me to hide from my past. The longer I keep it in secret, the more it hurts. I was born of human and Deimos. It was against everything and everyone hated me. The Dilzweld army is out to control everything on my country. My Father was King of Drakyrnia, he ruled the most respected Deimos ever -- the Drakyr. I was taken in as a child by an Orcon on Orcoth, Aldrow. Her name was Geedo and she was the ugliest, meanest, most cold hearted scaly creature to ever walk the earth. She used me as a slave and whipped me," Darc paused and reached for the mark on his arm yet again. "The Dilzweld has a base in the middle of the Kanara desert (Desert of Death) on Halshinne. I see my father in dreams and he keeps telling me I'm supposed to save all of the Deimos. But they've given me no reason to even think of them. All of them; Lupine, Coleopt, Orcon, Drakyr... They've all hated me and looked down upon me, just because I've been cursed with this human bile running through my veins...." Darc looked up at her. "I can relate to your feeling of loss. But, do you REALLY believe that she's dead?... I used to think that my mother was surely gone, but I found different. Of course I hated her for everything, and I still do. It's only natural to blame everything on someone else," he admitted. He gulped down the rest of the ale, scowling at the bitter taste and slammed the cup down, looking at the strange ring he had on his hand, trying not to draw attention to it ((of course he's not trying to, but you still have to be descriptive right?)). "Have you any clue where I can buy a coat? This armor gets seriously cold," he explained, pointing out the chest plate, shoulder band (human arm), knee cover, and band on his daemon arm. The chest plate caught the moonlight and made his eyes glitter furiously, like they were dancing. Although the light made him look almost happy, he still looked pained. "By the way, I've told you my life story and bored you to death without telling you my name... It's Darc," he said sticking out the scaly arm instead of the human one. Turning towards her caused his wings to block the window, hiding her from the outside, and casting a shadow on Darc's face, showing his one scaly cheek and his right ear lined with earrings.

Araya took his hand, "I'm Araya, Araya Bloodbane." She said and released his hand. "I dont really know, Sometimes I feel as if Clamnor really is still on this plane...." "I...I just dont know if its her, or just me wishing, dreaming" She finished. "Anyway, I think you could buy a cloak or something in the marketplace, thats where I bought mine at least" She said. Clamnor landed near the tavern "The Bloody Claw" The sign read. Clamnor smiled, "How ironic," This was the place where they stopped the night before the battle. Walking slowly, trying, as she usually did, not to make a sound which was hard with her bulk. Though, she made no sound, her footsteps left no prints. Looking in the window she spotted Araya, Araya seemed to pay no heed to the huge thirty foot dragon staring in the window, Clamnor sighed, "Why is this happening to me?" She asked herself.... "Why?"

"Thanks Araya. Well, I should get going. Not entirely sure where, but I will find somewhere to go," he sort of laughed. He felt like there was someone, or something, outside, but didn't want to say anything in the case that he was wrong. Darc was just in time for wanting to leave because the bartender looked up with his tired eyes. "You're right. Ya don't have t' go home, but ya've gotta git the hell outta here," he said wryly. Darc looked over at the man and nodded. "Thanks for the ale, Araya. See you around. But I've gotta go get a coat," he said stretching. His wings strained out into a massive span and the bartender marvelled at the gigantic wings. The holes at the bottom caused spots of moonlight to dance on the polished stretch of wood on which the empty glasses rested.

Araya nodded and yawned, "Yeah, its gettin late, I'd better be getting home anyway." She said with a sigh and walked outside. Clamnor walked infront of the door in a crazy attempt to get someone to notice her. Araya walked right though her but shivered involintarily and had the odd sensation of just walking through cobwebs. She spun around, she had felt that before, in the Well of souls. Three years ago, she had walked through the spirits that drifted purposlesly(SP) through the cavern, feeling like she had been covered in cobwebs. She looked around, then remembered. Without magic, you couldnt see the spirits that were everywhere, you only knew of their presence when you walked through them.

Kurae walked into the tavern. He ignored all the "mortal idiots" that were staring at him, idle and dull, and pulled up a stool. "Give me some of the strongest stuff you got," he said hostilly to the bartender. "I've been having a bad day." As he pulled out a little brown sack from his pocket, he chuckled to himself. "What a bunch of bums with nothing else to do," he sighed. "People these days will point the blame at just about anybody..."

Araya saw Kurae enter but didnt really care, she was focused on the matter of the soul she had just passed through. Clamnor knew Araya had felt her at least, now to get her to see her. She thought for a moment then came to the answer, though she had no power in the physical realm perhaps she could speak to Araya through telapathy as they used to. "Araya, can you hear me?" Clamnor asked closing her eyes to focus completly on getting that message to Araya. Araya heard the voice, it was the voice of Clamnor, she knew it, it was warm but had a sharpness to it, knowlage was the sharpness, intellegence. "Clamnor???" Araya said aloud. "Where are you Clamnor?! I searched for weeks, with the best rangers and mystics." Araya said her voice filled with pain and sadness, she was now communicating telapathicly, thinking clamnor was far away. Not knowing that she was standing right next to her. Clamnor sighed, "But Araya, I am dead," She said bluntly "Why are you still here? On this plane?" Araya said tears welling up in her eyes. "Dont cry for me Araya. You have worse things to worry about. There is no afterlife Araya, I know there should be. Its just not there, Araya, I'm trapped on this earth. I cant leave. Neither can anyone else, there are souls everywhere, wandering aimlessly..." Clamnor said her voice worrisome and a bit frightened.
