Ok, I've been milling this thought around in my head for quite a bit. This is a Medieval Fantasy type roleplay but it takes place in the forests of Silnosky where this group (Much like a group of wolves) foxes live. They are not mortal foxes, they are called the spirit foxes. They are thought to be the lingering spirits of elves that were killed in the forest over the years. The foxes protect the forest as well as its inhabitants. Some of these foxes have wings, some have special abilities, but, each has an element and a special symbol on their left flank. They travel like a pack of wolves and they have glowing eyes lacking pupils. I have a few pictures of them and if my scanner worked I would post them, but since it dosn't I'll have to type my Spirit Fox's description and that stuff. Ok? Now that that's written. I shall post my intro to Zephyr, the leader of the Spirit Foxes.

Soft snow wafted downward from the sky, covering the forest in a blanket of white. Zephyr, leader of the Spirit Foxes walked gracefully through the forest of Silnosky, her soft padded feet making naught a mark on the blanket of white. Up and down her legs ran slash marks in her fur; they were patches of black fur amongst the sea of white downy fur that covered the Spirit Fox. The fox’s eye was crossed by two similar slashes that ran across her eyelid as well. Her muzzle was graceful; her entire body was graceful in such a way that it put the normal foxes to shame. She patrolled the borders of the forest, glowing silver eyes watching everything, her white tail flowing behind her though there was no wind. Her ears were pricked, showing four slash marks similar to the ones on her legs and across her eyes, they shortened in size until at the tip it was just a small mark on the snowy white of her fur. She was listening for any sign of the Dark Knights. Moon-Star had told her earlier that they were approaching, she feared for the forest, as well as all the creatures who called it their home. Though, not for herself or the other Spirit Foxes, they would move on, these creatures could not. On her left flank was a simple shape, a star burst that marked her a spirit fox and that her element was of Wind, air, and speed, hence her unmatched grace, even by the other Spirit Foxes.

Orbs of icy blue, untouched by any other hue, scanned the terra, and a cold wind swirled around the slender, silver/gray form. It seemed barely there, so insubstantial it was eerie. Auds flicked, listening intently, then orbs closed, opening once more to look. Pads left no mark upon the ground, only a trail of pale frost and snow, which quickly melted. The marking on his flank was an icicle of purest icy blue, and coiled around it, a dragon of deep amethyst, marking his secondary, Empathy. His name was Shai'tahn, and he had once been a creature of incredible power. Then, death had claimed him as her own. Or has she? He wasn't really sure to be honest. Slender muzzle dropped to touch the terra ever so lightly, then rose once more, and an eerie bark was released, that yipping howl that is known to belong to those of the smaller canine breed. Once it was faded away, he listened again for a reply, seated silently in the shadows, his pale peltage flowing smoothly with touches of deep purple, a star and moon marking under his left eye, and a scar that coiled down and around his left foreleg, like a whip of fire had once touched it, branding him. After a moment, Shai'tahn once more released a yipping bark, then trotted forwards, his path clearly shown, though only until the frost was gone. His spine was untouched by the marks of wings, but this did not nessacarily mean he did not have them, only that they could not be seen. A slight glitter was the only way to see them, for they were clear as diamonds, and currenlty held coiled around his body, the leathery expanse massive when fully extended. Breath was drawn in, and released in a fog as the now much cooler air left his body. Icy orbs scanned again, then fell on the fae, and a small smile touched his muzzle as he trotted forwards, bowing long muzzle to the terra in respect. Blinking, he seated himself and waited to be acknowledged.

Zephyr nodded at him, orbs showing no hint of emotion, "We must meet the others at the den." She said softly, voice somewhat musical in its quality. She stood without waiting for an answer and padded off to the den. The den was a cave with a narrow enteterence. If one were to look at the cave it was rathery boring, cold and wet, but, The Spirit Foxes alone could pass through the left wall, which was created with magic, Zephyr's Magic. Zephyr walked through the wall, feeling the familiar caress of the magic once more she sighed happily before entering the main room, the room was large, it was hollowed out with magic by the first Spirit Fox hundreds of years ago. The walls were smooth, some gems glittered faintly in the light that tear-shaped lanterns provided, lit with magic instead of fire. The floor was coated in sliver peices and gold, the walls were coated in tapestries created by the elves, givin as gifts to the Spirit Foxes who kept their forests safe. There were many doors leading off into seperate chambers for each fox, around the arch of the door was the symbol of the fox and in runes the name of said fox. Statues were also added at intervals to the tapastries, beautiful and disturbing, frightning and touching, the elves' skill matched by none. As Zephyr walked in she spotted Moon-Star who was exiting her own chamber that was lit very little. Her left side was Black, the deepest void of black while her right was the purest possible. Her eyes were glowing white on the left while it was the deepest glow of black on the right. On her muscular back were two pure white wings, each individual feather dipped in black. On her left flank was her symbol, two foxes, one white one black, entertwined together around a gem of moon stone and obsidion, swirled together in an everlasting embrace that was embedded in her very flesh. Moon-Star smiled as she saw Zephyr, she loved her like her sister yet could hate her as one would hate their mother, it was an odd relationship, Moon-Star was shadowed by Zephyr's beauty yet she admired her.

A small, young fox, barely out of kithood, bounded up to Zephyr. She was a red-orange fox, with black-tipped tail and ears. On her left flank was a dark red flame, signifying her element, fire. "Hey, Zephyr!" she greeted, panting slightly. She jumped excitedly from one paw to the other. "Hello, Moon-Star!"
((Yes, it's a short post, but this is a new character, so, sorry.))

Moon-Star smiled slightly, "Hello." She said softly, Zephyr nodded and muttered a "Hello" But apparently her mind was in a different place. Curtains at one of the individual dens rustled, the curtains were white, pure white. A tall muscular fox walked proudly out, his ears were tipped in a very light sky blue as was his tail and front paws. His back were dipped in a silvery color contrasting slightly to his mainly white pelt. Rising from his back were two sky blue feathered wings, the same color as the tips of his ears. Zephyr turned around and a smiled crossed her face, she bounded over to the male and nuzzled him in the neck. He smiled and returned the welcome. "WindSeeker, I've missed you." She said softly, looking into his soft sky blue pupil-less eyes. "I missed you as well Zephyr." He said equally soft.

The young fox looked up at Zephyr. "Something wrong?" she asked her. The young fox's name was Roki. Her tail swished slowly. "Eat somethiong bad?" she said merrily, eyes sparkling.

Shai'tahn watched them quietly as he came into the den, the magic of the place containing his freezing aura. Pelt shimmered as he moved slowly over to the others, nodding sleek cranium to Windseeker without a word, smiling at the exuberance of the young female, an exuberance he could feel in his heart as well as see. Fluffy plume swished slowly side to side as he paced over to Moon-Star, lowering his muzzle respectfully to her, then once more looked to the others, his sigil seeming to glow softly on his flank, the amethyst purple dragon twined about the icy blue icicle. A diamond-like glitter set off from his sides as something rose to stretch out fully, transparant, draconic wings flaring out to their full length, then pulling back in and vanishing once more into his silver pelt. The amethyst star and moon under his left orb also seemed to glitter briefly, and the skin on his scar seemed to flinch as the slightest of breezes made it into the cavern where they stood. Shaking out his long pelt, the quiet Ice/Empathy male turned and padded towards his den, slipping into it and laying down regally on the icy blue pillow, with its intricate amethyst purple designs. He had spent the last week or so wandering the boundaries of the forest, and what he found he didn't like. Muzzle lowered to rest on his forepaws, though his orbs did not close. He was merely thinking was all.

Roki cocked her head, then grinned and bounded off through the entrance to the den place outside in the snow. Her paws snak through the snow to the ground, and if she stayed in one spot for more than a few seconds, the snow began to melt, so her path was quite easy to track.
