Looking up at her, Sylvaina purred louder and said,"You're mute?" Smiling she added,"I hope you're not suprised that I can talk."

Aria jumped, a bit surprised, then smiled.
'You seem to be doing that more often.' Andune told her
'It's just that, I'm happy that people are accepting me!'

Smiling, Sylvaina asked," Can I have some water? I've come a long way."

Rei looked down in surprise and laughed at the cat. "No surprise here..." she paused. "I've seen things you wouldn't even believe!" she laughed again, just making light of the conversation. "DARC! Get over here. There's someone I want you to meet," she said happily. Darc had been here longer and seemed to be more shy than she was. Maybe it was because she was used to being in large crowds of people. Or maybe it was because of something Darc hadn't told her about. But whatever the case, she was trying to get him into a better mood. Darc's wings shot up and he froze dead. His back was turned to Rei, but he heard every word she said. He didn't want to meet new people. He didn't like large crowds. He spotted an elf and smiled at her, staring ahead with his sapphire blue eyes. The sharp pupils narrowed as he turned to face Rei. He stepped forward slightly and began to make his way toawrds the three ladies. He exhaled deeply and stood silently nest to Rei, smiling sheepishly at Aria. Rei placed her hand gently on Darc's back and pushed him forward slightly. "This is Darc. He was kind enough to help me when i was lost and had nowhere to go," she said radiating a sense of pride to be in company with such a handsome and kind Deimos-man. Darc blushed and elbowed Rei in the side. She was still a little sore from all the fleeing she had done on her home planet. She winced slightly, but continued to smile. "Why is she doing this???" he thought painfully. "This is so embarassing!" he continued, throwing her a sideways look as if to say "what's your PROBLEM!!!! ?" "Umm, I'm sure you guys would have done the same... right?" he asked trying to break the silence. As soon as he opened his mouth he wished he hadn't. He just wasn't a people person and he disliked any type of friendliness and such. But then again, he enjoyed it. He loved Rei's company, and the kindness she directs towards him. He was so confused, as always.

Aria was shaking with silent laughter so hard that it looked like she was having a seisure(sp?) or something. Her smile was the only thing that made it look otherwise. She had not been this happy in hundreds of years. Her scarf fell down once more from her shaking, and she didn't notice in all her happiness. The black dragon's eye was showing again, and it seemed to be watching everyone.
Andune began to settle down for the night. She was tired from their long flight, and needed the rest badly. She suddenly had a strange urge to sing a song. Not the way mortals did, of course, but the way her kind did. Different levels of fire made different notes. Taking off and flying a bit further from the village, she began to play a dragon lulaby, the flames dancing in the air.

"Really!" The woman growled as the two mounted their horses, hers being a smokey grey (like her eyes) and Taraths being a proud black. The saddles were both black, made of tough dragon hide for long rides, not ment for comfort but to last. "I don't know why you find these places so...attractive is it?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. "No, we only come for the rum." He said with a sly grin. The woman growled and began trotting out of the stable, Tarath followed on his, cape flowing behind him darkly. "She's not here yet though, she can only travel in the night you know. But she has human henchmen who are.." She started but was cut off by a black arrow lodging itself in her arm. She fell off the horse, who, spooked, darted off, neighing loudly. The woman winced and pulled the arrow, blood dripped from her cloak. "Go!" She hissed. Tarath nodded and spurred his horse to a mad gallop, tearing through the forest. The woman watched him go. He'd be fine, he had his sword and his magic, right now she needed healing, those assassins always dipped their arrows in poison and she was already dizzy. Standing shakily she walked into the tavern, her vision began to swim as she tottered in, collapsing in a heap on the wooden floor, black blood oozing from the wound.

Laughing, Sylvaina padded up to the counter and started to say ,"one room please" but someone had fallen into the tavern. Her eyes widening, she ran, changing into a human as she did so. "Get me water and anyone who can heal!" She shouted bending over the woman.

Aria grabbed her pack and ran over to where Sylvaina was. She began to dig through, pulling out all sorts of herbs. Finding the right ones, she got her morter(sp?) and pestle(sp?) (the things you use to crush and grind stuff. the bowl and smashy thingy) and began to grind the herbs up, making a powder that would become a paste to put on the injury.

The woman's eyes fluttered slightly, the poisin was powerful, but she was fighting back the pain, back the nausea and back the dizzyness that it created. Enough for her to see a human standing over her, disgusted she attempted to sit up but fell again, loosing conciesness once more. Tarath ran through the forest, dark steed running so fast it was close to collapsing, but Tarath's encouraging words drove it on, winding through the forest 'till they lost the assassins in the brush. Sighing he turned, and ran back to the tavern, he had to save her. Had to! Once he was close enough he jumped off the horse, rolling into a stand he burst through the door, almost stepping on the collapsed woman with muddy boots.

Aria looked at the man, a tiny bit anoyed that he had almost stepped on the woman they were trying to save. Taking water from her water skin, she made the paste and began to apply it to the injury, finishing by wrapping it with the strips of leather. She looked at the man again, signing *are you able to identify the poison. No one starts fainting from a normal arm injury like this*

Tarath stared blankly. "Erm....I don't speak sign." He said dumbly. "But...She got hit with a poison dipped arrows..I think it was of elven make...I don't know it that helps..." He said kneeling by the woman and brushing a bit of raven hair away from his eyes. "Zayr...please..wake up." He said softly with genuine concern.

Rei looked at the man as if she was annoyed. "She asked you if you could identify the poison. She said no one faints from a normal arm injury like this..." she translated quickly. She drew in a deep breath and placed her hand on the womans' arm. She could feel the pain and it made her dizzy. "She's definitely close to death... I can feel it. If that makes any sense."
Darc just stood, absolutely petrified. He was having a flashback of his mother and father. His eyes started to glisten with tears. "Dad...."

Tarath nodded. "As I said, it's something of elven nature...that's all I know...perhaps orc...but I doubt it." He thought softly to himself as he stared at The woman, Zayr, willing her to live, praying she would.

"I'm afraid I can be of little help here, unless you need a messenger" Sylvaina chuckled and changed back into her cat form,"Actually, I do know most poisons avalable, Black Market or normal, but some elves can grow what they want, when they need to. Orcs, on the other hand, have to send a reliable person to the markets to buy them, unless the world turns upside down and they learn magic."

Rei was useless. The only poison she was familiar with was foreign to this planet and she was just a translator for the moment.
Darc finally snapped out of the trance and stared down at Rei who looked hopelessly troubled. He walked over and stood near the woman. "Everyone.... Step back," he said in a shaky voice. He was reluctant, but willing to contribute what he could. He took a deep breath and tried to clear his head. "Okay, here goes," he thought. A bright ring of encrypted symbols encircled the woman and flashed. Before anyone could blink, it was over. Darc went down on one knee and grasped the strange birth mark on his human arm. That took so much out of him, but the woman was healed. He couldn't believe that he had just done that in front of everyone. Darc hadn't used healing rain in so long. He felt as if all eyes were on him.
Rei watched in amazement as Darc did the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. As soon as he collapsed, she ran over and threw her arms around his neck, dodging his wings. "DARC! That was AMAZING!" she sparkled.
