Andra quickly swung to the side, looping around in a second, and swiping her claws against his scalp, before diving out of the way. She rose quickly, circling above him, waiting. She hoped that with the dying light, there wouldn't be much chance of finding her against the night sky.

Kurai expertly turned and followed Andra, his eyes built for the dark,"Can't run forever, pretty bird.." He took a heavy slash at her again.Sion hovered, waiting for his brother to finish the bird off so they could move on.

Andra dived and swooped in tight circles around Kurai, dodging his attacks with relative ease. When she could, she came close enough to scrape her talons against whatever exposed skin she could find. She wasn't going to bother with the other one yet; he wasn't the one doing the attacking or killing. She bird-smirked as she circled around him rapidly. He didn't seem to realize that falcoms were built for speed. There was very little chance of hitting one with a hand-to-hand weapon.

Kurai grinned as he sheathed his sword. He raised his hands up for the bird to see, which began to glow blue, then combust with seering hot blue flames. He flung a few at the bird, then attempted to snatch it with his fiery palms.Sion continued watching, unamused by his brother's antics.

Andra struggled, latching her talons deep in to the arteries in his wrists, and digging her sharp raptor in to the flesh of his palms. She could feel the fire start to singe her feathers, and she was glad that the token that let her take this form also protected her from various magical attacks. Fire included. But it couldn't last forever. She had to get out. For now, though, she thought to herself, I'm taking as much revenge as I can.

Kurai was oblivious to all pain when he was in a bloodlust, his grip loosened a little as he lit his whole body on fire and tried to pull her in.Sion decided it was enough, and unsheathed one of his dirks. He flew down to Kurai and Andra's level, and tried to whack the bird in the head with his hilt.

Andra sturggled againt the fire, feeling sharp blisters beginning to form from the heat. Precious moments before heavy hit came to her fragile bird's skull, she made a split-second decision. In one swift movement, she changed to her human form, while drawing her knife. The sudden change in size and weight would be enough to make anyone drop her. Before he did, though, she slashed as far up as her pinned arms could, and made a long, deep slash from the boy's collarbone, down to his waist, as she fell, slipping the bloodied knife back in to its sheath.

Sion's hilt hit the air, and Kurai was pouring blood. He felt the pain, but was more concerned about taking out that girl.He dived down at her, feet first ready to stomp on her gut and completely wind her.Sion followed after his brother, dirk sheathed.

Andra twisted in the air to face the ground, and closed her eyes as she saw the rooftops comign to meet her. As she changed in to a falcon once more, she realized that she was weaker than she'd have liked to be. Birds expended a lot of energy. She pulled up from her fall, getting as high as she oculd, as quick as she could, trying to pretend that there wasn't something with a lethal blade coming up from below.

Kurai smashed through the ground, a decent sized crater surrounded him.The boom echoed throughout the town,"Damn bird, gonna get us caught now!" Kurai had had enough. He pulled out his infamous deadly linked chain from under his cloak and made after Andra again. He swung the chain over his head, a disturbing whistling noise traveling through the air. He let one end go at a deadly speed toward's Andra's left wing.

Andra saw the whirling deathtrap coming towards her at alarming speed, but decided not to give it the chance. She dropped, pinning her wings close to her sides, and dove like a bullet towards the ground. She was surrounded by brick and wooden walls, before she snapped her wings open, faltering as she realized that the chain had managed to hit the end of the wing anyways. She flew as best she could down the city streets, before coming down near the ground in a sheltered alleyway. She slowed and changed, coming down against the dirty road with a crash. She crawled around, feeling fatigue controlling her legs, and kept her hurt arm close to her body. She found her way in to a good hiding spot, and curled in to a ball, feeling tears streak her sweat-soaked face, both from rage and deafening pain coming from her broken arm.

Kurai was totally consumed with rage now, stalking Andra to her hiding place, his torn arm hanging limp now,"You, birdgirl, caused me a lot of pain and a lot of trouble today. My brother says I shouldn't slay you, but I disagree. You deserve to die after making my arm useless.Lucky for you, my brother is a healer, and offered to heal your arm that I worked so hard to snap off. I suggest you take the offer, because if you refuse he won't care if I kill you now.." Kurai said, in a voice mixed with pain and rage. He flew back up to his brother, who healed his useless arm.Sion then dived down to Andra and kneeled,"Hold out your arm, so that I may heal it." he smiled.

Andra opened her squinted eyes, and glared angrily at the boy. Reluctantly, she held it out to him, hiding all signs of pain from her face, which was currently busy looking very upset.

"It's gonna hurt, get something to bite down on." He gently laid her arm in his palm, and held the other one over the arm.His palm glowed a faint white, and her arm went stiff and straight sharply,"There, your arm will swell a lot, so don't move it if you want your body to heal the rest naturally until next sunset." He smiled again and ruffled her hair before taking to the air with his brother.

She glared after him, but sighed, tearing a long strip from th bottom of the knee-length skirt she wore over her breeches. She tied it clumsily around her shoulder, resting her arm in it as a sling. Then Andra leaned back, combing her fingers absently through her hair, trying to quiet her mind. She wished she could find her way back to the rest of the Crickets. She could use their help.
