The two brothers circled in the air around the town for half an hour, looking for someplace to land and stay the night. They were satisfied when they saw an old abandoned home, not knowing it was the Dragon Bane's hideout. They landed outfront of the house, Kurai impatient, kicked the door down and walked inside with his brother,"Looks deserted.Perfect." Sion said, following his brother inside.Kurai proped the door back on the frame.

While Andra waited for some of the pain to ebb away, she heard the faint patting of bare feet on the road. She looked out, and with relief saw her brother Kito. She small boy curled up next ot her good arm, wrapping his arms around her waist, trying to comfort the older girl. At least, until he started crying. Andra wiped some grimy locks from his face, feeling once again that there was nothing closer than family. She couldn't really imagine any of the other Crickets trying so hard to comfort her. With a small smile, Andra turned Kito to her, looking him in the eyes. "Kito, you have to go back, and get help. Tell them that I can't walk, really. Hurry, now. You can go fast, with those long legs of yours." she winked at him, then let him go as he gave her one last hug, then retreating back out in to the main street, shifting and taking off at a gallop for the Crickets' hideout.

Meanwhile, back in front of the Crickets' hideout, the group of six was still in confrontation with these younger kids. They spent a long time staring at eachother, before curious Lorim finally spoke up. "We don't even know what they call themselves! Why are we even talking to them?" Jorn and Kat glared at her, but Bren nodded. "She's right," he added coldly, and took a step forward before Jorn held him back. "They still need to talk to Lei before anythin's official. Until then, they're just another bunch of street urchins. The rest nodded, and Bren stepped back. They were all the same, in that respect, but the difference between being that and being gangs was that for now, there was little that had to be truly formal.

Vix snorted and looked at Scales who's eye was twitching slightly, the itch of the rags had increased, though, he couldnt show the Crickets his legs until he was sure they were trustworthy. He was kicked out of his home beacuse of them, he wasn't going to be killed about those blasted scales. Scales heard the conversation amungst the others, his sharp hearing picking up every word. "If you were wondering we are called the Dragon's Bane." He said rather bluntly. Pepper sighed, or would have if he were human at the time, so he just hooted and flapped down onto Wolf's shoulder. Wolf smiled at Pepper and eyed the moon. Scales looked up as well. "Tomorrow it'll be full." Wolf said in a deep voice, speaking for the first time. Vix seemed astonished he spoke. "Yes it will Wolf, yes it will." Scales said thoughtfully then looked back at the Crickets. He scratched one foor with the other and couldn't help a glimmer of scales catching the moonlight before Vix calmly walked forward and sat infront of his feet, blocking the light of the moon, causing the scales to cease to glitter.

Neither the flash nor Vix's deliberate motion went unnoticed by any of the Crickets crowding the crumbling doorway. But none of them said anything, until Kyte finally spoke up, brushing a thick wavelet out of her face. "And what's it to you, if the moon'll be full tomorrow?" Kat, who had begun to make the direct connection between thier differences and their nicknames. Vix, vixen, fox. That made enough sense, as did Scales, and Raven. Wolf's comment about the moon made her nervous, though. She had been wondering about his name, and now had a suspicion she didn't much like.

Scales was quick to make up something, anything. Wolf looked odd, but was till entirly calm, part of who he was being calm was, supposed he got it from his father, at least, that's what his mum said. "Wolf was raised by wolves, so he especially admires to moon, hence his nickname." Scales said shortly. Vix cocked her head in a quizzical way. "When will the rest of your group be here?" She asked listening, something didn't feel right.

Jorn shrugged, still assuming something of the lead, at the moment. "I don't know. Fairly soon." As if on que (and just in time to stop interrogation about Wolf), Kito appeared, in the form of a young horse. All the kids in the doorway started, clearly worried by his appearance. The young boy wouldn't have shown up in his form, unless he had been in a hurry. THey all took one look at Dragon's Bane, and hurried the colt in to the building, closing the door behind him. Jorn, Kyte, and Bren stayed outside, making sure that these others were dealt with appropriately. That is, not left alone near their domain.

Raven cocked a brow.. "Umm...what was that?" She asked Scales in a rough whisper. Scales merely shrugged. "Dunno, though, it seems that we are not alone in our ways." He said softly, Vix nodded as did Wolf. Pepper merly hooted.

Moments later, Lorim stuck her head out the door. "GUys, we have to go. It's Andra." She slipped back inside, before Kat opened it, coming outside, shaking slightly. Kyte and Bren were both alarmed, now. Kyte spoke as Kat came up to her, followed by Lorim. "What happened?!" Kat glanced at the whole lot of them standing outside the door, before shaking her head. "It's Andra. She's been hurt. She needs help coming back, and being healed, though Kito says someone already tended to her, though he didn't seem too sure about it." She took off down the street at a run, followed quickly by the others. Kito was nowhere to be seen in the group.

The five of them stood there for a moment, thinking over what just happend. "Should we follow them?" Vix asked, her ears pricked. "Sure, what else have we got to do?" Scales said and began running down the street after the Crickets, on of the rags tore off, caught by a rusty nail, the nail would have penetrated human flesh, but not Dragon Scales. Vix ran too, her fox-like agility making it easy for her to dodge the many obsticals on the way. Raven took off the large tunic and spread her wings wide, taking to the sky. Pepper looked at Wolf who nodded and let Pepper take off, following Raven and the others. Wolf waiting a moment thinking, then ran off as well.

The Crickets found Andra where Kito had said, curled up in a small, almost cavernous hole in a wall, deep in an alleyway. They crowded around her, and Lorim poked her awake. The girl brushed her messy chestnut hair out of her face, and they all looked nervously at her as they realized that her face was covered in sweat and faint smears of blood, and that burns showed on her face and arms. "Andra," started Kat slowly, sidling up next to her friend. "What on earth /happened/ to you!"

Scales stopped, his left foot showing, glittering in the moonlight, though he didn't notice, he probably wouldnt have cared anyway. walking up to the crowd he tried to squeeze through the tight group of people but in vain. Hissing he breathed heavily, he had never run so fast in his life, except for when he was running from that mob..(but that's a different story.) Vix stopped, her small feet sliding in the muck so she slid through the group of people (being no bigger than a kitten) she hit the wall to the side of where Andra was lying. She shook her head and pricked her ears, hoping she wasn't noticed. She flicked her tail, sending mud in all directions. She stared at Andra, emerald eyes wide.

Bren did a double take, and realized that the Dragon's Bane had followed them. He frowned angrily, and moved so that he was in their way. Jorn noticed this, and did the same, making sure that these strangers didn't get close to their friend until she was properly taken care of, and even then... Andra just shook her head, wiping her eyes with the back of one blistered hand. "There... were these two boys. And they had wings! Wings!" Bren caught a glance at Raven.

Raven landed a few feet from the Crickets, her eyes wide. "What happend?" She asked Scales hurridly. Vix just sat there, staring, speachless, she was just a few feet from the wounded one, yet they didn't notice. She then looked at her paws, coated in muck, she looked exactly like the surroundings. She smiled wryly and watched whilst Raven folded her own wings to her back.

Bren felt something brush againt his leg, pressed agianst the wall. His hand darted downwards, hitting Vix. "Get out of here!" he shouted at them. "THis isn't your business! What are you doing here, anyways?" He pushed Vix back, and Andra stopped talking for a moment, staring blankly at them. He pressed in closer, and the Crickets followed suit, until they were in a tight semicricle around Andra's hiding place. "It's OK, Andra," said Kat comfortingly. "Lei will be here soon, with your brother. Don't worry. We're gettin' you back home as soon as we can."
