Kith scanned the depleted number of men and shook his head, ~So you draw power from water?~ He was genuinely curious and found it strange that he should be so when he could be killed at any moment. ~Madness...~ he sent to Wheryn. ~You always were.~ she replied, pausing, her front hooves touching the ground for just the shortest moment before she reared back up to warn off a particularly bold man.

(Yay! You're back! ^^) Sora tilted her head slightly, gazing about her at the fewer number of men. She sighed, sliding into a space near Kith, and sheathing a sword on her back. She lifted her hand, palm facing him, the sapphire embedded there glinting in the light. ~Sapphire and I are the Water Gaurdians, and she currently resides in the lake. Together we could flood this entire place and drown everyone.~ she replied, finally reveiling them. She soon grabbed her sword, blocking a man that had charged. She spun her blades into a spinning disk of silver, and swining it forward, cleaving the man completly in two. She looked about, the threw her still spinning disk of a sword at the enemy, killing two as it sliced through them, then returned to her hand like a boomerrang, she catching it expertly. During this time her other sword had kept spinning in her other hand, she truely was a master swordswoman.

( Eep...so...much...schoolwork!)
He stared at her for a moment before remembering his own peril, dodging another attempt on his life and throwing his long knife at another interloper.
~Kith, what are you doing?~ Wheryn demanded as the young man bounded forward to retrieve his weapon and dropped down to avoid another blow.
~What does it...look like I'm doing?~ he replied snappishly, scissoring his legs to bring his attacker down and finish him off. All this killing sickened him, but it was either them or himself and Wheryn..

Sora laughed softly to herself. ~He's trying to show off, besides haven't you heard? It's not a wise idea to throw weapons away in battle. Unless of course you know there coming right back to your hand.~ she thought to them, a sort of grim amusement and determination in her mentalvoice. There were only about five men left, and Sora's breathing had deepened to a deeper rythm. She wasn't sweating yet or even very tired, just becoming a little short of breath.

~Showing off?! Am not!~ he snapped, annoyed. He gave her a cursory glare before turning away, replying,~ It doesn't matter if I throw it or not, these idiots are slow and clumsy.~ As if to prove his point, he slipped around a lunge made by one of the men and slammed the hilt of his knofe down on the back of the man's head, hard.
Wheryn snorted, frustrated with Kith and nervous at the smell of blood, her instinct was urging her to bolt, but that part of her that Kith's magic had awoken urged her to stay and help him.

Sora snorted lightly, glancing towards the lake for a moment. She then looked towards the few men left. ~You might not have been then, but you are now. You shouldnt take anyone for granted, especially enemies.~ she told him, trying not to sound reprimanding, but it was true. She dodged another man and sliced him in two, now only two men left. Obviously they were the smartest and quickest of the lot of barbarians, they were still alive at this point.
Sapphire blinked, peering up through the water. She didnt want to completly reviel her presence yet, but she knew that Sora wanted her to calm Wheryn down while the Elf continued fighting. She reached out with her mind, touching Wheryn. ~Wheryn.~ she called her. Her mindvoice sounded calm, and she was trying to spread that calmness to the other.

He shot her an irritated glance, but was spared having to reply when one of the last remaining men decided to join in. He dropped to the ground and rolled away, curling up to provide a smaller target. The man tripped over him, it felt as if Wheryn ahd kicked him in the ribs. Gritting his teeth, he finished the man off with his knife as he lay sprawled near his feet.
The dragon's presence in her mind calmed her wilder instincts, somewhat but could not entirely banish what the mare was feeling.

Sora looked at the last man, her eyes sizing him up. He was as tall as she was, and the Elf was beginning to wear down. Her breathing had deepened, and she was tired of the fighting, though she could still damage, let it be known.
Sapphire saved her from having to kill him. She serged up from the water, raking her silver talons down, and slicing the man in two. She snorted, gazing about her. ~It was my turn.~ she thought to them, her tail flicked as she scented all of the death.
